"The Ocean Mist is a delight, particularly if you remember the sad state it was in a few years back. Now it has a super mix of original details and modern comforts, managed by smiling, helpful staff in naval uniforms. "This hotel could use upgrading and cleaning. Carpets were old and stained, lobby area was musky and smelled like old cigarette smoke. Chairs in the lobby, bar and food area had old stains. Staff was very friendly. Air conditioning wasn’t the greatest. Was just an ok stay."

There were 2 baby seagulls on the rooftops which made our mornings and evenings such a treat to watch. Amenities were great, especially with the washing machine. "I absolutely loved my stay here. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were really wonderful. I had been asked in advance if I was celebrating a special occasion and I explained that it was my Ruby wedding anniversary although I had been widowed for many years. When I checked in there was a beautiful bouquet of roses in my room with a card from the staff. This was such a lovely gesture and I really appreciated it.. I will definitely return here."

"We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were nice and clean. Had everything we needed. Only one thing that was a little uncomfortable was the hard beds and dense pillows. We had a very good stay and the location was close to the bus station."
