"So convenient for returning my rental car at Shannon Airport and then just walk across the street to catch my flight the next morning. The restaurant was convenient too. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and close to air transport. The staff was fantastic, so helpful! My traveling companion had a flight canceled at the last minute, with no notice or assistance from Aer Lingus to make her connection in Paris for a flight to Bogota later that afternoon, so a hotel manager, Ashley (sp.?)...

"A very enjoyable stay overall. The hotel has a really stylish, modern feel, and the bar/lounge area creates a great atmosphere. Free parking was a nice added convenience, especially when travelling by car. The only small downside is that some rooms are quite a walk from reception, the bar, and the restaurant, depending on where you are located. Not a major issue, but worth noting. Overall, a very pleasant experience."

It kept getting better: well preserved building with beautiful period furniture; kind people who welcomed us and clearly loved their jobs; splendid accommodations; fantastic 3-course dinner; and help in arranging our 4:00am departure. "It is a very beautiful town, but the hotel is dated and didn’t feel clean. The heater would not turn off, so it was hot. It took a while for them to accommodate us. The restaurant on sight is excellent."

"Staff was very helpful in getting a taxi to some traditional Irish music and giving a little interesting facts of the area. Room was immaculately clean and the beds comfortable."

"The hotel is situated on extensive grounds with a walk down to the Shannon river. Great pool - longer than most hotel pools. The interior of the hotel is rather old fashioned and could do with some refurbishment. My room was large and comfortable. It is about a fifteen minute drive to Limerick city centre although there is a train station nearby."
