"Our experience at Belamer Suites was honestly frightening and extremely disappointing.
At 10:45 PM, while we were already asleep in bed, someone began knocking loudly on our door. We were not expecting anyone, and to make matters worse, we realized there is no way to lock the doors from the inside, which immediately made the situation feel unsafe.
The person continued knocking and never announced who they were, which was incredibly alarming in the middle of the night. We tried calling the front desk multiple times and no one answered, which only made the situation more unsettling.
Eventually the front desk called us back and casually said it was probably “the new girl delivering something to the wrong suite.” That explanation did nothing to reassure us, especially considering someone was knocking on a guest’s door late at night without identifying themselves.
At that point we were genuinely concerned for our safety. We quickly gathered our belongings and went to the front office to explain what had happened. Unfortunately, the staff completely dismissed the situation, offered no apology, and made no attempt to make us feel safe or comfortable.
Because of this, we felt we had no choice but to check out immediately at 11 PM and find another hotel in the middle of the night.
To make matters worse, despite only being in the room for about 3.5 hours, they still charged us the full price of the stay at checkout. There was no flexibility, no understanding of the situation, and"
