"Great experience. Easy checkin with a very friendly staff that showed how proud they are to work at this historical hotel. The room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed eating at their restaurant and we will definately stay here again."

Rumor has it, the complex consisting of multiple buildings tiered into the hill/mountain side (up to the highest point between the intersecting interstates and surrounded by pastureland) was originally a Howard Johnson’s! "I was pleased with the welcoming feel, as well as the cleanliness as I walked into the lobby The staff was pleasant.and very helpful as well. The room had been renovated and had several amenities . Free breakfast also. Felt like i was staying in an overpriced hotel. OH.... and the view took my breath away!! "

"Waited for about 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check me in. The second floor hallway smelled of marijuana. The air conditioner in my room had two temperatures: the surface of the sun or the icy depths of space. And the light from the hallway ensured that it felt like daytime in my room 24 hrs a day."
