Top Sa Pa Hotel Reviews

Stella De Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I really appreciate the help from the staff. We arrived early in the morning after an overnight train with a sick traveler. Our room wasn’t ready but they let our sick traveler rest for the day in one of their basic rooms reserved for sick travelers. The location is just what we wanted, in a quieter part of town that’s easily walkable to the more crowded areas. We found a great coffee bar just down the street as well as a local grocery store to get supplies and a selection of lovely candies and treats. Sapa is so humid that it was hard to dry anything in the wet bathroom, but the room was spotless and the front desk spoke great English. They were very helpful and understanding throughout our stay. The breakfast was fabulous and the buffet room was sunny and bright. For the price range of this hotel, it was a great value. "

Hotel Sapa Square, Affiliated by Meliá

"For what I paid I was pleased. The hotel is a bit tired. The rooftop bar is great. The location is very central. The sound insulation is basically nonexistent - take earplugs with you! "

Silk Path Grand Sapa Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel and grounds are stunningly beautiful. The staff are extremely kind and helpful with recommendations, booking drivers, providing directions and even checking weather to recommend itinerary adjustments to ensure the best possible experience. The food is also wonderful. The manager went out of his way to accommodate my son’s gluten allergy, even at the buffet, preparing a few of the specialty Vietnamese items custom for him. Highly recommend this resort. We are hopeful to return with more time. "

Hôtel de la Coupole - MGallery
10/10 Excellent
"Really enjoyed my stay here. First off, the property is top tier. Every nook and cranny is interesting (sometimes creepy) but very on theme and lovely to look at. The room had a nice size, big comfy bed, and lovely bathroom with all the amenities. Location is outstanding. Right in the middle of the town so you had easy access to all the coffee shops, restaurants and public transportation. This includes the funicular up to Fansipan! And the hotel offers a fast pass service for guests (for a fee). The food? Insane! The breakfast buffet had everything you could ever want AND they do change it up slightly after a few days. The highlight of this property for me was the pool and the gym. Prob the best pool I’ve ever swam in, in my life. Just so architecturally beautiful. And the service? Exceptional! Every single staff that I’ve encountered was nice and helpful. Overall really happy with my stay here and would consider going back (if only the trek up to the city didn’t take so long). "

"This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The property is well maintained and the the staff is amazing.
The only drawback is that the hotel is overrun by large tour groups. The breakfast experience was chaotic "

Lady Hill Sapa Resort
10/10 Excellent
"My parents and I were completely blown away by this resort. If I ever travel back to Sapa, I'll definitely want to stay here.
- Location: Only a 10min Grab ride down to Sapa Center, but you won't feel like you're near it which is what we wanted. It's quiet, scenic (despite the fog and rain) and near one of the stations that take you up and down the mountain.
- Accommodation: Our bungalow was above and beyond what we expected. Only downside was the master bedroom bathroom was freezing (one of the heater lights was broken), so we didn't use it very much.
- Food: Excellent, a little more western-centric. Due to my dad's medical condition, we weren't always able to go downtown to eat. The food in the hotel was suitable. Breakfast was a highlight every morning!
- Service: I'd give them 10 stars if I could! From the moment we arrived (welcome drinks), to anything we needed (e.g. extra towels/blankets for cold nights), to the almost-instantaneous buggy service (we'd just call the reception to request a ride from our bungalow to the lobby if the weather was bad) - just downright amazing.
- Amenities: I didn't get to enjoy it as I was spending most of my time taking care of my parents - but next time I'm hear I want to try their pools and spa!

"Good over all"

Freesia Hotel

"The staff are friendly and helpful. Just that the location is not as suitable for old and weak people because there’s a slope to climb before reaching the hotel. Otherwise, it’s very good. "
