"This Old historic building is tastefully furnished with beautiful antiques and located right on the waterfront promenade, next to Beaconhill Park. "Building is majestic, high decorated ceilings, hardwood floors and classic art. Room decor was nice, four poster bed was comfortable and we slept well.
Breakfast was a highlight, served on bone china, the eggs Benedict were perfect."

"The room was almost as fantastic as the hosts! Had such a brief but lovely stay here and would definitely come back. They make you feel right at home, the room is comfortable, clean, and has everything you'd need for an overnight trip. Highly recommend!"

"We love the Latch for so many reasons! Location = quiet (heard owls early this morning). History = it’s a unique structure and story. Hospitality = by FAR the best breakfast you will ever have included in your stay. Eggs Benny or omelet, the freshest, sweetest fruit, high quality bacon. The STAFF, go above and beyond in every way. And to top it all off, pets are welcome, a small dog park is nearby. Our dog gets pretty excited when she sees we are going to the Latch! "

"The Beaconsfield Inn was truly a beautiful place to stay, with a large library full of old books, the breakfast rooms were beautiful and the food thoughtfully prepared. Cathy was very caring and attentive, and even gave me a room upgrade! Will definitely stay again!"

"Enjoyed my stay. It was a bucket list item! It was clean! It was quiet. There are robes and I love dark towels! The bed is warm with a firm mattress. At home I have a 4 inch memory foam topper, so a firm mattress was a very different sleep for me.
My favorite was having a seal swim by as I was having my morning coffee!
The Mexican restaurant is open through winter which is lovely! It’s steps away from the front door!
