Checking in and out very easy and fast all the staff super nice and friendly and very accommodating considering I don't speak Japanese. I have visited Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Oita for a little over a week in each city. Oita was by far my most enjoyable and relaxing city I have visited. "Beautiful onsen hotel. The only problem was their name says they are in Oijo but the are actually 50 kilometers away and the taxi ride wa 10,000 yen. You need to take a local train to Hiji and a taxi from there for 2000 yen. "

There's a Gust restaurant next door and a Lawson across the road. However, the doors were a little low for tall people, the corridors aren't air conditioned and I'd prefer a regular buffet breakfast rather than eating a bento in my room."
