"This is a beautiful chateau/winery with lovely rooms and a friendly staff. The grounds are spectacular. But the hotel is relatively new, so there is a gap between expectation and performance. We were delayed getting into our room until 4:30 because housekeeping was backed up due to a wedding the day before. "We stayed in a self catering apartment which had superb views across the lagoon and to the sea and was operated by the hotel. The reception, bar and gardens were well presented , however, the apartment itself could not be described as 5 star as it was in need of refurbishment.
