The property is a stones throw from the town centre and harbour but is quiet and peaceful. It was very clean and had all the requirements for a comfortable stay. "Beautiful hotel, classic early 1900's style. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the pool was out of commission for the duration of our stay but they offered us alternative spa treatments instead. My one recommendation would be to allow guests to lock their doors from the inside and to provide hooks on the outside of all doors to allow "Do not disturb" signs to be hung up. We had neither and a member of the cleaning staff came into the room whilst we were in bed asleep. The staff were very apologetic and this issue can be easily avoided with the above solutions."
