There is no front desk, so communication is all through Expedia/texting, which can be hard if you don’t have cell service or if you’re traveling with elderly travelers. Our conference was at the QE Fairmont, at double the room rate, a 14 minute walk on a safe and easy route. We were thrilled with our fully stocked kitchen - we bought groceries from Provigo, a short walk away, and cooked our own meals (another savings!). "The Lofts are located in a separate building from the main hotel and the unit we stayed in was a walk-up. So be prepared for stairs! The loft was fantastic and offered great street views of Old Montreal. The Loft was spacious, clean, comfortable, and a great place to stay.
