Such a lovely hotel right on the water. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Lovely, well-appointed rooms. Great location. Highly recommend staying here on your visit to St. Malo.

Amazing view

Small Hotel with very friendly personnel and an astonishing sea view. I can really recommend to stay at the Ambassadeurs when visiting St.Maloand surroundings. Parking in the street is free and on top of a small restaurant there is also a Rooftop bar.

Amazing beach view

Amazing location over looking the sea, like a postcard. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room small but comfortable. Cobwebs on the ceiling and carpet in need of a deep clean. Bathroom very small but had a good shower. Roof top bar is a plus. Nearby street parking is free. Dinner/wine was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and scrambled eggs scrumptious.

Nice hotel by the beach

I was a bit dissapointed because in the announce it said "Parking available" (we choose it because of this) and it ended up being a paid parking (17 euros per day!). Otherwise, the hotel is really nice and quite well located.

The view of the beach at St. Malo was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. The breakfast cheeses and meats were dried out. The room was very small and the parking was 350 metres away, in another hotel. There was no place to stop to drop off luggage.

Spectacular sea view and caring staff but intermittent hot water in the shower and no shower kits at all. Rooms are too confined for a couple with a baby. Billing errors.

The location of the property was amazing. However the picture showed on the website, showed full door windows looking out to the see, I did feel this was false representation of the room given. We just had a small window that opened onto the sea. Very disappointing.

I was very happy with this hotel. It is located directly on the waterfront, a short 10min walk away from Intramuros, and a 15min walk from the TGV train station. My room (fourth floor, street side) was small but cozy, with a comfortable bed and a very good shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and they all spoke English for the times when my (very limited) French gave out. Breakfast was excellent. A great selection of bread, including croissants, jams, cold cuts, juices, cereal, and pastries. Additionally, there are freshly-prepared eggs and crepes. The breakfast room doubles as a creperie / tea salon during the day. One very minor issue was that the elevator was out of order during my stay, and my room was on the fourth floor. Not an issue for me, but it might have been a problem for guests with limited mobility. Overall 5/5 rating, would book again in a heartbeat.

Beach location perfect if you like a swim. Rooftop bar has a stunning view and you'll get a sunset view that's hard to beat anywhere. Bike storage in the garage across the road was a bit of a faff, once it was in there I felt like it had to stay until I was leaving. Yet I had seen it advertised as bike-friendly on Brittany Tourism site. Staff were helpful but seemed a bit overloaded, perhaps one or two were missing and it's the end of the season. Overall though, a nice hotel and would recommend it.

Excellent stay. Although the room was small, it was scrupulously clean and recently renovated. (Fantastic shower!) Magnificent view from the window (402) -- the room that is shown in the photograph. Amazing location on the beach. Helpful staff.
