Khách sạn San Isidro

"Rooms are clean, neat and pretty. There are three bedrooms and enough room for our family (2 adults and 3 kids). The road leading from the main street to the house is narrow, steep, and winding, making driving a bit challenging. A smaller vehicle with four-wheel drive and decent driving skills will be necessary. The location is nice. Just 20-30 minutes to Cartago. We had a good time there!"

"This hotel is so beautiful!! We went hiking in the middle of the forest, then had lunch at a local restaurant and had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and it was perfect! Breakfast is always delicious and the staff is great! Definitely going back!"

"The rooms though small were well maintained and still large enough. The food was fantastic and the staff was very intensive The property is very well maintained. Only drawback was that the internet is only in certain areas. I had some unexpected work to do and had to do it in the bar because internet was not available in my room"

"El personal fue muy amable, pero tuvimos problemas con la televisión por cable, prácticamente no funcionó durante nuestra estadía, la habitación estaba ok, pero la ducha era casi imposible de regular, o tiraba agua muy caliente o tiraba agua muy helada, el desayuno no era rico y los plátanos maduros eran servidos helados, el resto si tenía una temperatura adecuada. En general el resto estuvo bien, solo con las observaciones antes mencionadas."

"I stayed for just one night with my family (my wife and daughter), and the place met all my expectations for a mountain lodge. It was safe, quiet, and the staff were very helpful and kind."

"We love this hotel. The room is huge with a sitting area and a full size fridge. Highly recommend recommended."

"Helpful friendly staff, good food, clean and well equipped rooms and superb gardens with a host of birds. Can't fault it."

"Helpful staff, good location and parking. Excellent breakfast."

"Great place to stay for the last night of our trip. Airport shuttle was easy and this hotel is right around the corner from the rental car drop off. Beutiful property and has everything onsite you need. Great stay."

"Excellent colonial-style building with incredible natural surroundings, but the hotel looks neglected. The room was nice and spacious, but the bathroom smelled awful, like a sewer. I had to buy bleach and use it, but it didn't get rid of the smell. There was a leak in the sink and mold between the tiles and under the sink. I had to report it at the front desk, and they only provided one towel under after inspection. Also, the rooms didn't have air conditioning, and with the mosquitos, we...

"Solamente me tocó una habitación queda con la calle y el ruido de los carros no me dejó dormir ni tiene cristales contra ruido externo"
