Good neighborhood, a bit of noise from the street. The apartment is nice but should be better maintained: mold in bathroom ceiling, saw 1 bug, entrance door makes a lot of noise, bathroom was still a bit dirty on arrival, the fridge is leaking, the kitchen was a bit dirty on arrival.

Star Olympus Hotel on Calle Hoare, Marimar, SJ PR

The owner Angel was very helpful in directing us to near by restaurants & beaches. However, for things that were missing in the efficiency rental. The owners answer was, "people steal everything." A small table in the kitchenette was wobbly. A plug in cook top to use, but hardly any utensils. There is a small refrigerator, and a small microwave. Ceiling lights were only light bulbs with no covering. TV channels were constantly buffering. The TV had Netflix. But was near impossible to watch anything due to the signal. Constantly buffering, even after unplugging and re-booting the system. Parking is extremely difficult. There is one spot in front just off the sidewalk. It's a first come first serve space. Personally I would not stay at this place ever again.

Had a great experience staying at Star of the Olympus! Staff is very kind and responds within minutes if there is anything you need help with. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Has parking on premise but we were able to get street parking every day right outside the building so never ended up using the parking.

The bathroom was filthy. Black mold in shower. Main door lock was broken. Found it had swung open in middle of night. False advertised as fitting 3 adults. A single queen bed with dirty sheets and a futon. Microwave didn’t work. Ancient burner stove. Under no circumstances do I recommend anyone stay here. Yes it’s close to the condado. But for what you pay for there are TONS of other options. Stay away. The room was simply NOT cleaned before we showed up. The bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in lord knows how long. Black fungus growing in shower tiles. Bath mat soaked and RANK on the floor. We had to toss it out on the walkway to TRY and sleep there. We honestly left a day early due to how bad it was.
