"We had a wonderful stay. Everything you could ever think of needing was provided. For a glamping experience this place is top notch. You have your own private toilet and sink right next to you. The showers were great as well. "

"The trees, birds, and butterflies around the property are beautiful. The ladies that checked us in were friendly. There was definitely a language barrier, and they didn't give us much information besides showing us to our room. The room was very basic, which is ok. The room had very strong plug in air fresheners, which was very overpowering and gave us head aches. The beds were rock hard and not comfortable, and 2 of the 4 pillows we had were moldy, which was pretty awful. We didn't notice...

"My family and I had a great stay here! JP and his associates welcomed us and made us feel at home. Complimentary breakfast was great and the other meals were delicious. The room itself was great given you are in the jungle, so there was no a/c and typical sugar ants but nothing unexpected. The pool and the views were gorgeous. "Breakfast goes from 6:40am-10:00am. great selection of food from rice, beans, chilaquiles, meats, plantains, fruit, cereals, there's even an omlette station and waffle station. Tea selections include black, green and herbal. Hot coffee and hot milk available as well. Juices usually were orange and some type of red (our guess was papaya). Filling because it is all you can eat. "

"Overall, we loved this resort. First night in bad room located right next to construction/maintenance area and was very noisy. Do not stay in room 37! Hotel Mgr was very accommodating and upgraded us to a nicer and quieter room. Grounds are beautiful, and great view of Arenal volcano. Thermal springs (at least the top 2 pools) were lovely. Nice outdoor pool patio casual restaurant. Big breakfast buffet, all food was very good. I’d definitely recommend a stay here! And don’t miss Mistico Park...

"This was absolutely one of the best and most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The location was close to everything. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a huge perk and they had the best food! All of the staff that we encountered went above and beyond in their customer service. We didn’t have a single issue and would love to stay there again."

"The property is beautiful with all the surrounding lush gardens and pools. Because the property is so large, the slight down side was having to have our whole family of 14 shuttled to and from the pool and restaurant every time. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay very much."

"Rancho Cerro Azul was everything one could ask for in a serene, restful, retreat. The location was perfectly peaceful and quiet with a less than five minute ride into La Fortuna. The grounds and rooms were very well maintained and extremely clean. The air conditioning was a nice break when it was humid and the hot tub was a perfect way to end each day."
