"At first glance I was disappointed because the room looked like a college dorm and I expected it to be noisy. I was wrong. The room was comfortable, clean, and I felt safe. A nice view of a city park looking out our window. The cafe had excellent cappuccinos and croissants. The piano music during the day was relaxing. It was a 10-25 minute walk to most places we wanted to see. I highly recommend the Social Hub."

"A working convent with basic rooms to let while in Florence. Very clean room, large with small balcony overlooking gardens. Large bed, very hard mattress. Nice linens and towels. Did not try breakfast for purchase while there. Pleasant atmosphere with morning and evening choral worship by the nuns heard in our room. Great location, walkable to Florence sights. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Great A/C in room!"

"Laid back, luxurious feel to this hotel, gorgeous pool area, in tranquil grounds with birdsong, scent of flowers, and unassuming, carefully attentive staff. Delicious unhurried buffet breakfast. 15 minutes by minibus into central Florence. Best of both worlds. We spent 4 nights here."

"This place is wonderful. Perfect location close enough to the Ponte Vecchio but far enough from it that the foot traffic feels at arms length. The front desk staff is super warm and the location is beautiful. Make sure to check out the courtyard next to the front desk area and also the stunning roof top bar views. I found this spot to be exactly where I wanted to start and finish my daily walking journeys. Slip into the nearby side streets for some great cafes, restaurants and Osterias."
