"We just needed a short respite for our anniversary. Although just 30 minutes from home Red Horse B&B was just perfect. In the quiet south valley we enjoyed our relaxing evening (should have brought bathing suits for the hot tub). Early in the morning we sat out on the patio under the old cottonwood while listening to a class on the internet (connection was great). Then we partook in a wonderful homemade breakfast. It was a quick but lovely stay."
"The hotel is brand new! We were the first ones to check in on the day it opened (6/30/26) so everything was pristine. I’m sure the lack of hot water to all the rooms has been corrected."
"The room was clean, the air conditioning was awesome, everything worked just like it' was supposed to. Everything as "as promised." That shouldn't be such a big deal...but if you travel these days, you know it is."
"This was one of the most enjoyable AirBnB stays in my years of AirBnB travel. You know how sometimes when you stay in a home, you just KNOW it’s ran by a woman? Well, this feels like that place. Plenty of towels, linens, and dishes. A small variety of snacks, and plenty of coffee options supplied for the guests. The decor is to die for. My nieces opted to sleep on the couch, instead of the perfectly comfortable bedrooms, simply because they loved the couch so much. No trouble accessing television channels. “Good” toilet paper and paper towels in the bathrooms and kitchen. Adorable/functional outdoor courtyard with a grill, seating, and a small playground. A guest book provided with info about the area, restaurant options, etc. Check in was seamless. Very little check out “work” required. I accidentally unplugged the WiFi router, thinking it was a noise machine or air purifier, and the hosts were super quick communicators in helping me resolve my (self-made) issue. Basically, these hosts have nailed it. They provide the info you need without bombarding you with overwhelming info or requests. 10/10 will stay here again, next time we visit the area!
Random note for other travelers from outside the area…I was unfamiliar with the front gate culture of Albuquerque. For those who don’t know, they’re often used for “critter control” or “storm structure”, so you do want to wheel it closed whether inside or away from the home."

Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Sandia. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll have all the comforts of home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and busy concierge desks while still allowing you the experience of travel.
