We only stayed two nights but found Sanremo to be a thriving city. Plenty of shopping opportunities and we were spoilt for choice for places to eat. We walked along the cycle path and down into the port. Lots to do.
Sanremo is lovely, with plenty to do and see. The shopping was good, and the choice of restaurants is amazing. Would recommend for a week away.
Great food and affordable. Beaches are pebble and not sand. I often wonder what Sanremo was like it's hay-day with all its grand old hotels and casino, and if it tried rival Monaco and Nice.
