"This property is full of character and very clean and relaxing. The host was very friendly and made sure our stay was all taken care of. It has a calm vineyard feel. We just want to send a special thank to one of their hosts Francisco who helped us big time in an event of accident. We really appreciate your kind help and the warm hospitality. "Quinta da Marka is an amazing place to stay. They view of the Douro Valley abs River from the terraces and the pool are sensational. The service was brilliant, with Angela going above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay. The breakfast was good, with lots of options, dinner and the selection of wine and port was also great. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, we will be returning."

"Such a wonderful slice of heaven. Definitely visit this property. The staff were fantastic & so helpful. A bottle of sparkling wine at the pool was €18 and absolutely delicious. The breakfast omelette was delightful, the dinner was delicious. The pool was sensational, such a lovely place to be. Book it! We had a vineyard suite, the Manor House ones seemed further away. "

"Hele mooie plek om te verblijven. Het was alleen jammer dat het leek alsof we tussen drukke periodes kwamen. De mooie tuin stond er een beetje rommelig en verlaten bij. Maar personeel was uiterst behulpzaam en vriendelijk."

"The acommodation is beautiful, looking out across the Duoro Valley. The wine, food and staff were all lovely. We would reccomend to anyone wanting to stay in the area."
