Pasquale met us at the apartment even though we were late and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. "Hostess, Carmen, is excellent. Breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms were big, especially the master BR (We had the 2 BR unit). You walk up 1 long flight of stairs, there is no elevator. The B&B is located at the edge of the historic town. Only a 10-min walk to the cathedral (which is a must-see). "The location is within walking distance from the train and many of the sights of Salerno. It's on the main walking street of the town. And it is a few streets away from the waterfront walkway so it's walking distance to the ferry.There are many restaurants in the area. There is no lift to the third floor but the stairway wide and not steep. So the climb isn't too difficult. Davide is a frendly host. "The apartment was very clean, housekeeping offered everyday was a surprise, as well as washing machine was greatly appreciated. Little things like coffee, tea, lollies, panettone and water plus bathroom accessories made the stay even more comfortable.
