Matilda’s is a wonderful hotel

I had a fine stay at Matilda’s, which is a well executed redo of a 1912 mansion. Bathrooms are nice, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast excellent.

Loved it!

Matilda's was great! They were incredibly accomodating, letting us store our luggage prior to check-in. The breakfast was great. We loved eating and having our welcome drinks in the courtyard. We weren't there for long but enjoyed our stay!

Outstanding staff and charming and elegant building. Hotel was previously a mansion owned by a family member of a former President. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is a delight. Stayed here on two separate occasions in September 2024 and all staff during those periods were helpful, attentive and a joy to meet.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance made me feel like I had stepped back in time or was staying in a museum. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit on the smaller side. The staff were exceptional, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Initially, the location seemed a bit sketchy, but it turned out to be in the heart of everything, making it very convenient to explore Chile Centro. I would definitely stay here again.
