"Great hotel. Really clean, rooms bright and comfortable, towels and linen fresh. The vibe of the hotel was nice - there was activity and social spaces for people who wanted it, but it was very quiet up in the rooms for people who didn't. Room had a fridge, kettle, and nice toiletries. Really appreciate having shampoo AND CONDITIONER in a European hotel as well as having a decent hair dryer. I liked the space planning - I've stayed in other hotels with this kind of design but just felt like I was in a box. This room was compact, but the area where the bed is had plenty of room to move around so I didn't feel boxed in. As shown in the picture, the shower door in my room was transparent and there was a direct view from the bedroom into the shower. It was fine for me since I was traveling solo, but make sure you pick a room that you can share comfortably with whoever you are traveling with. The location was great - could get into town in 10-15 minutes with a close by Metro but I liked staying a bit further out so I could go for a run on less clogged up parts of the rivers/canals - it was a nice escape from days spent in the busy city. Since the hotel is tall and distinctive I could find my way home easily despite being someone who is shockingly bad at directions. Staff really responsive and helpful. I had a great stay and would gladly stay again!"

"The room had a mirror to see the canals. The view from the room was not directly very nice but that's alright. Got a shaving kit on request. The coffee in the lobby is good. Wifi is good too. Staff were helpful and printed out stuff I needed. Can see myself returning! Good location too. "

"17th floor- spa room. Hotel was lovely and clean. Room was beautiful with an amazing view of the city from the top floor. The only downside would be that although they provide tea and coffee in the room you have to ask for cups and milk and then cleaners take dirty mugs but don’t replace them. And for paying a bit extra for a more premium room having toiletries like shampoo and conditioner would have been a nice touch. Other than that, staff were lovely, hotel was beautiful and the pool was an added bonus. Lots of roadworks and construction in the area but we didn’t hear anything in the hotel and it didnt impact us at all. Tram only a few minutes walk away into central station which was handy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return. "

"Terrible experience and no hot water!! There was no hot water from the first night and continuing into the next day. This meant the apartment was not usable as intended. I had to wash using cold water in the sink and rely on wet wipes, which is not acceptable for paid accommodation. What made this worse was how it was handled. Compensation was initially offered at 15%, then increased to 30%, then 50% with a voucher, before later being reduced back to 15%. This inconsistency did not reflect the severity of the issue, and a full refund for the affected night was refused. The room itself also fell short. Despite having a kitchenette, there was no toaster and no basic cleaning items such as a sponge. There was no suitcase stand or anywhere practical to place luggage. The layout was also awkward, with a washing machine positioned in the centre of a very small room, making the space feel cramped and poorly thought out. I was eventually relocated to YAYS Amsterdam Maritime, which helped for the remainder of the stay, but it did not resolve the disruption already caused. Overall, this felt like a below standard experience, both in terms of the accommodation itself and how the situation was handled."
