"This hotel was easily one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The hotel rooms have a proper ryokan feel and the hotel staff are the nicest people I have came across in Japan. We didn’t even ask them for a shuttle pick up from our bus stop but a car with a driver was already there They provide free shuttle to and fro Sukurai station which I wish I knew from before. "Great transport links nearby. Hotel and room was pretty grimy and run down, but it suited for a couple of nights. Smallest room I’ve ever stayed in - but I’m stocky and 6ft. Overall passable. Also ended up with a smoking room which I didn’t ask for, so it was a bit smelly at first. "
