"Our stay was very nice. Alway so peaceful up in big bear. Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious. I would suggest people have to wear masks when getting food as some have no manners and were coughing. But overall a great trip for my husband and I. "

"Excellent stay! Pros: Amenities and staff were 5 stars. Everything was clean, great breakfast options, facilities excellent. Cons: An issue we had was that housekeeping did not come to clean the room when we requested but other than that they were responsive and eventually showed up. Also, the breakfast line for the waffles was slow so it could take up to 20+ minutes. If a parent is in line and wants to make a 2.5 minute waffle each for a family of four that would be 10 minutes for that one...

"This is the second time we’ve stayed at this Ayres and both times it has been EXCELLENT!!! The rooms are clean and well-kept. Nothing is broken. The staff is very friendly. When you need something, they are very quick to get it to you (extra towels, blankets, etc.). The pool is warmer than you would expect of an outdoor pool. The breakfast is a good variety. "The entire stay was amazing! Clean rooms, kind staff, and the hot breakfast daily was amazing, we couldn’t have asked for anything better when going to the area. It’s also a fair distance from Big Bear Lake which is why we stayed in the area! The hotel is also a very short walk away from so many different things, shops, stores, you name it! I will definitely be returning to this hotel if I go back to this area, worth it, we felt very very safe! "

"The location is very convenient. The staff is super nice, helpful, and friendly. Good price for a nice room, and the amenities are great. There was no water in the dispenser in the morning in the kitchen area, but otherwise it’s a great place to stay."
