I booked months in advance, asked for a quiet room, was assured by an indifferent receptionist that “all rooms are quiet” (true as regards outside) and was negligently placed beneath a suite with running toddlers. "It's not a hotel but newly decorated rooms on tbe 2nd and 3rd floors of a normal building. The room and the bed are big and comfortable. It's a pity it's noisy from the traffic outside as there is no double window. It's very near the station on foot. I arrived before check-in time and they let me leave my luggage in the room as it as ready, which was very kind."

"There were 2 of us on this trip to Venice then the Dolomites. We flew into Venice around 3p. Getting transportation from Marco Polo airport was easy. We used a bus. It dropped us off at the standard stop in Venice. From there we were able to wslk while pulling our luggage for just a few blocks; however, one of the 2 bridges that we had to use to go over canals did not have a ramp, and it was a little difficult.
