"Wonderful 19th century inn! We had a spacious corner room with pullout sofa. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful balcony. Comfortable, relaxing, quiet stay. As long as you are not expecting a modern, chain-brand property, and have a car, you will enjoy this place! Note, The Old Inn is almost 2 miles from the delicious breakfast spot and about a 16 minute drive to Great Barrington, which is the closest town. "Read reviews about checking in & was worried. I had no problem. Called the phone # - lady answered right away. Walked me through the payment & key card process & I was done & in my room in 5 minutes. She gave us a different room & it was clean & looked like all new bathroom and curtains. "Well the little fridge they had in the room hummed loudly all the time the freezer needed to be defrosted I bought a couple of frozen dinners and couldn't get both of them in the freezer. One of the draws on the side tables when I pulled open the drawer one side of the handle came loose I was able to screw it back in but it needed a screwdriver to tighten it up all small little things but a inconvenience none the less"

"We returned to the Chambery Inn to celebrate my wife's birthday and the Memorial Day weekend. We were very happy with our choice. We stayed in a beautiful room (203), which included a spacious sitting area and a well-appointed bath. The breakfast were nicely prepared and presented. The Inn provided timely information prior and during our stay. We will be back in the future. "

"Loved the property, room was clean and had everything you needed!! We had an upgrade that was wonderful!! Only downfall was the outside little deck! No privacy all out In the open, side by side and facing the other units with a walkway in front of it!! Was looking forward to sitting out side but ended up not using it at all. "

"Beautiful hotel, very well-maintained. Friendly professional, welcoming staff. Rooms are beautiful, well appointed and very comfortable. Exceptional service by the staff at this particular property. We ended up leaving something behind by mistake and they immediately called us and let us know that we had left something in the room that was important to us. We really appreciate the extra special personalized service. When in the area, we will definitely stay here again. "
