"Cosy home in a serene location. Felt isolated and peaceful. Easy to find via GPS. Very clean. Would have preferred if some basic condiments (salt, sugar, oil etc) and tea & coffee provided too as otherwise travellers need to buy these just for the short stay. Bathroom was tricky as can't shower without clothes getting wet. Responsive communication. "

The bus stop is within 3 minutes walking distance and the train station is within 30 minutes walking distance, but the bus can also take you to the station. "Nice place enjoyed the location, central to skiing areas both resorts and backcountry. Place was very clean and enough room for a group. However, there was no extra blankets or pillow cases for all the extra pillows. Rooms were noisy from the vents when the wind was blowing. Communal cooking & eating facilities extensive and a good place to meet other guests. Friendly and helpful staff. The only minor negative was no air-conditioning as it was quite warm. "

"The hotel is a little difficult to get to if you don't have a car. The bus runs only a couple of times a day from the airport so plan accordingly and is at the top of a hill (which makes sense for ski but is a trek if you're on your feet). It is a very clean and beautiful property and the staff go above and beyond to be helpful and make your stay comfortable. The views from the room are spectacular. "

"The onsen water quality was absolutely excellent. The breakfast was delicious and server was courteous and very friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, nice bed. The wifi was super fast. The parking attendant was very helpful and check in and out were super easy. Great service and nice stay overall. Love the ramen always, yogurt drinks and ice cream. You can feel the difference staying at Dormy Inn."
