As in, 'years and years of accumulated dust.' You might try that: Open the window and the door at the same time for 5-10 minutes while you're cleaning it. (...which seemed to be something you haven't done any time lately.) *The laundry room wasn't just dusty....it was kinda filthy. ugh. Someone clean those carpets, please."
