The host was very nice and gracious, very helpful and knew English well. Before I arrived they wrote to me on WhatsApp, asking when I'll arrive so they can welcome me and explain to me everything. I had trouble finding taxi and she helped me with it which was a life saver for me.

"Wonderful stay in a wonderful place. The views from the terrace (where breakfast is served weather permitting) and the executive rooms on to the cathedral are spectacular. All the staff is super friendly and keen to help. The hotel or relais is beautifully decorated and everything is spotlessly clean. That is also true for the rooms which all have antique furniture. "A wonderful space to stay !!! Very close to the escalators! The staff is warm, welcoming, and very helpful. We had a small issue with our air conditioner and it was addressed within an hour. One item to note, across the street is an event venue that in our case had two nights of celebrations with music into the early morning hours. The sounds easily penetrate the walls. "

"This hotel is in a great location in Siena as you can almost drive to the door (you do need to park away from the hotel) to drop off luggage and you are on the edge of the old town of Siena and its square. We had a balcony with a great view of the old town and breakfast and service from the front desk were great!"

"The most comfortable mattresses we have found on our travels, were in the family room of this hotel. Beautiful location, friendly staff, delicious coffee at breakfast.
