"The room was clean and the staff was really helpful n breakfast was incredible"

"We arrived late and unfortunately, were not given the balcony room we had reserved. The room we received had an unpleasant odor and was not as clean as expected. There was even feces on the bathroom wall, which was unacceptable. The walls were extremely thin, making it easy to hear conversations and noise from the surrounding rooms throughout our stay. Overall the cleanliness, condition of the room, and lack of soundproofing made for a disappointing experience. I would not choose to stay here...

"Great stay, for some odd reason the AC and the room phone didn’t work, oddly after my stay I was charged 213 dollars for something, tried to reach out to the front desk and my phone kept ringing continuously, great hotel but be careful with them."

"I was expecting quaint boutique but it’s more quaint rundown. The room was very clean but the property definitely needs some work. The staff was nice but they tend to close the front office early. I got there 20 minutes before it was supposed to close but it was locked up. No text had been sent yet where to get my key so it was a little nerve racking but when I called the contact number they answered right away. Again, very clean and comfortable but lots of little fixes needed including the room...

"The place is great for a getaway. It's close to so many different places to visit and eat. And if you don't want to go anywhere, the food and service at the View is amazing too. So many things to do right there."

"Really thin walls, got woken up at 2am by very noisy neighbors. The remote for the TV (which had a sticker saying the room number) was for a completely different room. A piece was missing from the coffee maker, rendering it useless. Vending machine gave me a completely different drink than I paid for. 2 stars."

"Room was dirty shower didn't work microwave didn't work and was all rusted at the top. There was mold on the bathroom celing and under the sink on the wall. I will not stay here again. It said it was historical. I don't think k they have done anything new to it sense it was built. I do not reccomend it."

"Loved it! It’s an older property, so it has a great vibe, but they have done a great job updating it. The shell of the property has that retro vibe but with modern amenities. Staff was great, great food at the restaurant. Right off the highway so it’s super easy to get everywhere you want to go and downtown Santa Cruz is a few minutes away. Would definitely stay again."
