"Parking was free via a ticket from the motel. The carpark was gravel which made moving the heavy cases difficult. Our room was at the very end of the ground floor so it was a fair hike to get there, this could have been problematic if there had been any mobility issues The room itself although starting to show its age was good Staff were excellent and it was novel to have a bowling alley as part of the complex. A great hotel across the road for meals."

"This room was absolutely incredible! I would have to say that the shower was absolutely delightful. Location was perfect. Easy accessibility to the sky gondola, the Tiki trail and other incredible hiking spots. Just minutes away from the downtown shopping and restaurant districts, the lake and Gardens. Nice comfortable quality bed and pillows. I hope to make it back to Queenstown, and if I do, I will stay at this hotel for certain."

"It would have been nice to know that the hotel was under going major building works on the front reception and dining area. The breakfast while a buffet was ok but they were no options to purchase omelettes or fried eggs. The sausages were only chicken sausages. The bar was a temporary structure, not somewhere I would sit and relax after a day out. It was ok if you drink spirits no beer on tap and limited bottled beer. The service staff managed very well considering what they are working with."

"During our 7-day stay, waking up each morning to see the sunlight hitting Deer Park Heights across the lake was a highlight. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the atmosphere is quite peaceful. While the location is a bit outside the town center, the hotel provides a very convenient and punctual hourly shuttle. I would come here again regardless of whether I was staying or not. Wrong grind of coffee for the plunger, but that is really the only negative I can think of :)"

"We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car.
