"After a long journey we were so pleased to stay at this B&B, we received a warm welcome, the building is beautiful with lovely views and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was continental only but very well thought out and the communal areas are a special bonus. Would stay here again without a doubt. Thank you."

"I stayed here one night before catching a flight back to London. The hotel sits on beautiful property. I saw quite a bit of wildlife and spent a couple hours bird watching whilst there. There appeared to be a lot of activities available besides the obvious golf.
I ate dinner in the Brasserie and had breakfast in the main restaurant. The service was good; the food was okay. The room had ample space, was well laid out, and had important amenities: tea kettle and fridge. My only issues were: 1. The room was tired -- especially the bathroom. There was moldy grout and it needed a remodel; 2. The sound proofing between rooms was poor. When the guest above me walked around it sounded like I had an elephant on my ceiling; and I could hear the people next door. It's a big hotel -- there were tour buses and golf tourists. I don't know if I'd stay here again. "
"Overall, my stay at the hotel last week was very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and the service was smooth throughout. Breakfast was good, and the hotel atmosphere felt relaxing. I would happily recommend this hotel to others and would consider staying again."
"We were met by an extremely cheerful and helpful member of staff at reception and for the rest of our stay, this was the case with every member of staff we saw or were served by. The room was clean and cosy, a bit of a walk from reception but that's no issue, and it was really quiet, considering we were at the front of the hotel, we heard nothing from the car park. Good coffee and tea making facilities and plenty extra coffee teabags etc at reception to help ourselves to if you needed more. Lovely Borders biscuits too, the only thing missing was a bottle of water. This wasn't our first visit. We decided not to use the pool this time but I had a lovely walk around the map of Scotland and found another part of the estate with a beautiful old Victorian gazebo. Our steaks were cooked as we requested and our starters of scallop and black pudding were excellent. We weren't seated on top of one another for dinner either, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was piping hot, I chose to pick my own from the good choice off the hot buffet with the best bacon and links sausage I've eaten in a long while. My husband spoke to one of the waiters and asked for poached eggs, not on the order menu, but which again was met by a smile and was no problem and arrived perfectly cooked. The loyalty app is a good addition and we look forward to staying again. A lovely night away. Thank you."
"The hotels.com website advised secure parking was available. This was not the case. Parking was not specific to the hotel we had to park in the general motorway services area. I was also surprised to have to pay an additional £5 a day for this unsafe parking. I did not know about this charge prior to arrival as it is hidden in the hotels.com small print which you have to click on several times before you can see it. I was advised that parking is free if you book directly with Days Inn."
"Bedroom was lovely and clean. But there were stains from tooth paste behind mirror on shelf. And shower drain was dirty and could do with a good clean. On checking out staff did not ask for feedback or even ask hiw our stay was. Bar was okay but mostly locals not anyone staying."
