"I was a solo traveler visiting Edinburgh for the first time- I had originally booked a hotel on Victoria street but switched to the Horton for a more price convienent option. I’m very happy I did- I was only about a 10 minute walk from Victoria street and it was nice to not wake up right in the middle of all the tourists. I called the hotel ahead of time and explained I was a solo traveler so requested not to put me on a ground floor. They were very accommodating putting me on a second floor...

A refrigerator and microwave would be nice at least in a common area. Otherwise everything was top notch. Ryan's pub nearby was fantastic! "
