"The inn was a bit on the older side, but this added to the charm of the accommodation. I would have preferred hardwood flooring just for reasons of easy cleaning and reducing dust/allergens, but I can see how it adds to a cozier feel in colder weather. The Saturday and Sunday breakfast service was excellent, the views were lovely, and the indoor lobby had a very home-y and welcoming feel. There were even fun trivia card games on each dining table, and a whole game closet. An attached reception...

"The lodge was opened to the public in 2022. Prior to that, it was used exclusively for UCLA alumni. It the past few months, guests now have access to the private trails that run alongside the Arrowhead Lake. In addition, the North Shore Tavern next to main lodge is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner."

"Got a basic room to break up a 12 hour drive. It met our needs with a 1 cup coffee maker, small microwave & small refrigerator with no freezer for our ice chest keeper. The front desk staff very kindly kept the freezer pack in their break room. They gave more coffee filters, advice on where to eat & when to avoid rush hour traffic in the morning. They were very nice.
The condition of the room & furniture was in good repair. The room size was adequate. Had plenty of room to set up large dog...

"We stayed here because we were attending a concert at the Yaamava Resort and could not get a room there (this was also a fraction of the cost of Yaamava). It is located close to the resort, about 2 miles, though be aware that car traffic on the evening of the show was extremely heavy, such that it took us 30-45 minutes to drive the 2 miles to Yaamava.
The hotel is fine for what it is -- an inexpensive place to sleep for an evening. The room was spacious, clean, wood floor with platform bed so...

"It is a historical building located in the center of the town. We did a hotel guided tour. This history of the rise and fall of the hotel is interesting. The tour is on the expensive side but worth the visit. The interior is bit outdated, not sure if it’s intentional or because of limited budget. It is good for one night stay."
