"Stephen (the host) was great! Very friendly and welcoming! The room was very cosy, clean, and well equipt. Unfortunately, due to busy work, I was unable to explore the grounds, but I imagine they were lovely. 100% would stay again if working in the area."

"Perfect for what we wanted"

"We absolutely loved every thing about our stay at bee hive! The perfect place to meet up with very good friends. The hot tub was great fun, food on site delicious- we adored the calm quiet atmosphere and gorgeous view from our veranda. The entire place was so clean too..! Could not fault a thing!"

"The house is probably fine if you stay there in the summer, but we stayed 14-18th November 2025. The house is freezing cold and to further 'improve' the experience, the company that rents the house have decided to limit the temperature the thermostat can be turned up to. In addition all the bedroom radiator valves have been jammed. So the house is cold and your ability to turn up the heating limited by the owner. "The good - great instructions to get there and ease of getting in. Everything you needed to cook meals and hot tub was fab and ready to go when we arrived. Beds made up and plenty of space. Facilities good The ok - furniture a bit tatty, cleaning not so great - pet hairs all over and needed a good dust. No door mat so carpet was filthy and it smelt of wet dogs (other peoples). Shower hard to get right temperature, was hard to turn temp down as cold tap hard to turn. Couldn't watch on demand tv,...

"Lovely property. Very clean & staff were very helpful. Wood fired hot tub maybe not ideal & you have to buy your own wood after night one (b&m much cheaper than buying it there). But was good it was lit & warmed up for us on arrival. A very enjoyable stay, although we left a lot of food & drink in the fridge & we were almost home by the time we realised 😞"

"Grayz Studio was perfect. I’d visited the tea room before, but never knew this lovely place was just upstairs. It was a lovely place to be, whether for wandering around Steep Hill, or for getting breakfast downstairs and staying in to work. Clean, sunny, well-appointed—and a giant welcome scone when I arrived! Thanks for a marvelous stay. 10/10 will stay again."
