"Room seemed upgraded, bathroom had safety bars, room was cleaned well. Soundproof windows made the room absolutely quiet even while facing the freeway. The supermarket next door makes it easy to get a food on the go or to bring to the room, if desired; the refrigarator is for real cold rather for show. The hotel is perfect for a short stay - it is affordable, conveniently located, no thrill accomodations for a short business trip or family visit"

Only small problem was checking in, as there was only one person at front desk and he was tied up on the phone with what sounded like a difficult customer. "Beautiful and charming B&B, lots of care in the details like cohesive design of the shared living spaces to feel both curated and cozy at the same time. Some features are due to be updated, ie the commercial carpet in the bedroom; however, it was clean and bright, beautiful grounds and landscaping, parking on-site and friendly and helpful staff."

"Check-in was cold and unwelcoming. The two people at the desk didn't even bother to stand up to greet us. Unfortunately, this set the tone for the entire visit. The absolute worst moment was check-out. The woman at the front desk was actively having her lunch at the desk and clearly resented being interrupted. When I specifically asked if we needed a receipt or validation for our parking pass, she dismissed me with a bored "No, you're good." Believing her, we hauled all of our luggage out to...

"Rooms are decent for the price point. Low review is due to hotels unwillingness to work with you if you book through expedia. We had a change in plans that resulted in 3 unused nights for 3 rooms. I made the staff aware ahead of time of the change and they said no problem. Now they told expedia they would not refund the rooms for the unused nights even with the advanced notice."
