"We wanted a quick getaway to the island but didn’t want to be at a hotel with kids all around. We picked here because of the adults only, and we loved the vibe! Very laid back, relaxing. The pool is super cute, and clean, and the bar was great. Food was good too, there was a live band, and we enjoyed that. The rooms was very simple, bed, small table and chairs, Nothing fancy. "Luis made breakfast enjoyable. The pool was overcrowded and loud music was playing 8:00 till the pool closed at 11:00. For the price it was a good option if you're going to the beach. I would suggest getting the room on the second floor because I was on the bottom floor and it was noisy till after 12:00 it was hard to sleep. Definitely get one further from the pool also. On a budget it's an okay hotel to stay out."

"The mattresses were filthy, old, and uncomfortable. The beds are up against the walls with hardly any walking room between. All of the a/c units have lopped off laundry detergent containers catching water which then is filled with mosquito larve. The shower had thick soap scum. No stay over housekeeping. The clothing dryer is out of order. The pool is a tiny, old, hole in the ground. Parking is a nightmare."

"It was a great stay, very clean, and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. The property is older, the elevator is permanently out of order and the pool area needs some upgrades but it was fairly well maintained overall."

"There was some dog treats in restroom floor that housekeeping missed. The bed sheets had some very visible stains (should be replaced). One of the bed’s frame was loose. No laundry on site. parking on hotel parking lot was $7 additional fee."

"Great budget hotel option for South Padre. Rooms are a little outdated but everything worked fine and we loved having direct walking access to the beach which was our main priority. Easy walk to CVS just down the street for snacks, water, and toiletries."

"The property is super old and not maintained or cleaned. The rooms have old carpets. Dirty tub, old furniture and valcony sliding door and main room door wouldn't even close. The reservation said it was beach view and when we got there staff informed us they only have partial beach view rooms. Defenitly not worth the money to stay at this ghetto resort."
