"We stayed here for the weekend for my brothers 60th birthday and set up a surprise and Leah the manager was so helpful and helped us to make it possible. The rooms were exactly what we needed somewhere to clean up have a cup of tea and have a good nights sleep and the bed was very comfy. So all in all a good choice for us for a very reasonable price. "

"In an great spot, close to everything, really nice clean fresh hotel, decent games room, big bar area and restaurant, owners went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. reccommend you stay here, nice chippy at the end of the street, shops and a nice cafe at the other end. "Nice little hotel, bed was comfortable. We had a small double for the night and it was absolutely fine for our needs. Staff are good and looked after us well. Can't fault it at all for what we paid and parking available across the road, so unlike hotels in the centee of town you will always be handy for your car."

"The rooms were and always are spotless. Silvia and her marvellous team are just beautiful, they are so efficient and kind.The hotel is 5 minutes from the tram stop which is petfect and the breakfasts are varied and delicious. Absolutely reccomended, see you again in 2026 x"

"Mars hotel was budget friendly. Nothing special but perfectly adequate for price and location. I do give 10/10 tho to the man on reception. He was lovely whilst checking in. And then when I left my hair straighteners in the room and didn’t realise till home. This man was so helpful, I sorted a Royal Mail collection and he kept me updated with his side and made sure they were all packaged up to be sent back to me. To me he went over and above, thank you so much! "
