Our favorite place yet on our UK tour. What a fabulous host Lucy is. Location was beautiful, room was perfect and breakfast was great. Thanks for the great stay!
Wonderful place. Great room and wonderful host Lucy. She provided an awesome home cooked breakfast and plenty of suggestions that made our trip better. Don’t hesitate. Book this place!
Our family (me, my husband and our five year old daughter) had a wonderful stay at Tirindrish House. The location is close to many attractions and restaurants and Lucy is absolutely lovely! Highly recommended.
Tirindish House is a historical home converted into an absolutely charming accommodation. The hostess/owner, Lucy, is gracious and goes above and beyond for guests. Delightful accommodation with a great breakfast, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Just a lovely place to stay!
Tirindrish House is a treasure. We only had one night and I regret not staying longer. Lucy is a wonderful host and the grounds and surroundings are beautiful. Do have the full Scottish breakfast!
Fabulous accommodation. Just 3 rooms let by Lucy and James, who own the local brewery also. Great breakfast cooked to order and rooms are well decorated. Lcuy sells her art at the house if you are interested in Scottish landscapes in watercolour, and some oil. Very quiet, blackout curtains, comfy medium mattress and good pillow selection. Highly recommend and would stay again.
James welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our room. He gave us a run down of where to get dinner then stayed for a lovely chat. It felt like catching up with an old friend! Tirindrish House is such a beautiful quiet spot my only regret is not staying longer. Would definitely stay here again - for longer!
Absolutely the right choice of first night stay in Scotland! Beautiful location and home and room. Felt really pampered with the bed and bathroom. Comfortable lounge downstairs also to sit in. Lucy was a friendly and caring host. We enjoyed a walk locally in the evening as we did not need an evening meal. We had a great breakfast.
We loved our stay at Tirindrish House. The room we stayed in was big, which was a nice change! The breakfast was yummy. The hosts are quite fantastic. Upon departure, we were able to purchase a picnic lunch from them which enabled us to enjoy a full day in Glencoe without needing to stop and locate a restaurant. You get great service when you stay at the Tirindrish House.
Incidentally, we needed to do laundry and found a great little laundromat at the Ben Nevis Holiday Park in Fort William. You pay with credit card and soap is included.
We arrived late to Tirindrish House. Our fault, we added a stop at Stirling Castle on our way from Edinburgh. I wish we could have had more time to see the area (hence the “goods”). Our hosts were wonderful, the room clean and comfortable, and the breakfast excellent!

very nice stop
owners spent considerable time with us talking about the area
great breakfast
Due to the incoming storm, the owner was very nice and allowed us to come very early and check in Since all of the tours and sites were closed for the day.
Such a spacious suite with an additional sitting room viewing the mountains. The views were exceptional. James & Lucy were kind to let us check in early. They were also so helpful with dinner recommendations in the area. Breakfast options were delicious. Lucy was most helpful planning our routes for the next days journey. They were both so kind and full of information.
lovely house in a lovely area. Owners were very helpful and friendly. The house is a ten minute walk from the town where there are local amenities and restaurants.
Our host greeted us with a smile and showed us around the house. He had a lot of knowledge about the history of the home and helped us book reservations for dinner. The rooms were great!
Beautiful house with fascinating history, very comfortable and tastefully decorated room, and friendly, helpful host. We booked at Tirindrish at the last minute after a car wreck and the need to head home early, but it was a fantastic find. Our stay at Tirindrish was short, but it was the most memorable of our weeklong stay in Scotland. James and Lucy have done a beautiful job of rehabbing this older home, and they've made it a very inviting, comfortable place to stay.
