"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "This property is very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with our stay. One thing to note is that our room was equipped with a portable air conditioning system. It worked well, but would start with a rattle."

"The hotel was lovely Chic and cool - very spacious room i was on the 4th floor and had a Corner room. Staff are nice and friendly and work hard. The only gripe i has was that in the room there are no water bottles nor are they replenished: I think You have to ask for water and they bring to you which I Never did, i went to local supermarket and got some any way. "Beautiful, picturesque location stationed right by River Arno. Delicious restaurant options for dinner. Front staff was friendly and helpful. Deeply appreciated the room upgrade with a stunning lookout of the grounds. Only wished the bumpin' music in the clubhouse (?) was a bit quieter during sleeping hours. "What a quaint four night stay. The nuns managing the desk and the grounds were sweet and helpful. The room was neat with a pleasant balcony view out into the courtyard. A bit longer of a walk to central Florence but only blocks from the train station. A unique property to unwind after experiencing a great city."
