"I checked in early evening and noticed a half-smoked cigarette in the kitchenette area and the desk clerk had me sign a pledge that I would forfeit 250 dollars if there was any evidence of smoking in my room! I had no remote control to the TV and the blanket on the otherwise comfortable bed had numerous holes from a smoker.
