"The room and property were A1 as always but they front desk lady put me in a room that when we walked in smelled a chemicals so bad that was giving us my grandkid open the windows and everything and then she told her she could move us those clear to the other side after it already been there for a few hours and got established because they had redone the shower and we couldn't shower so that was kind of a let down to go through all that and switching and all that
"
"We only had a quick stay overnight. Over all we thought it was great. There were minor things that are broke in the room that you find at most hotels from use. Things seemed clean and for once in a long time it was a place that offered a pool area that was warm and the water wasn't an ice bath.
Stay all were super friendly.
We will stay again when in the area."
"Room was clean and comfortable. The gathering area down in the lobby was great with games and lots of sitting space. Had a wonderful stay. The pancake machine was lots of fun to watch and made great pancakes."
"I had an exceptional experience while staying at The Amaya. World recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the greater Fort Wayne area. Friendly & accommodating staff made sure all of my needs were met, and I felt so welcomed by the elevated check-in ecperience. The hotel is fully renovated, with lovely modern features and tasteful decorations. The bed was a dream, with a real comforter and large comfy pillows. The room is equipped with modern and higher tech features, all of which contributed to my stay. I love that there is no carpeting throughout, giving an aura of cleanliness and everything truly was. 10/10 would recommend the Amaya to friends and family, and I will be a repeat customer in the future. Also note - ample parking in a secure lot is a relief when traveling alone too."
"Bugs/ dirty pool area/ construction supplies in pool area/ stairs were out of order so if fire how do you evacuate overall a bad experience the employees were alright though "
