"This was our second year of staying with you. The lodge was clean but a little run down and needs some attention. Our hot tub wasn't working for the first 2 nights which was disappointing and we had swimming booked which was cancelled due to an issue on the day. "
"Property is in need of renovation (parts currently underway) but still a very enjoyable stay. Fantastic location with excellent views from dining rooms and bar overlooking the ocean. Staff are excellent and do all they can to assist. "
"The room was lovely, with loads of extra touches. The actual inn is an amazing old historical building. The food was excellent and great choices. Great range of quality food and drink. Every member of staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. We have been to Jamaica Inn for visits before but never stayed. Would definitely stay there again. "
"The staff was lovely and very attentive, a really nice man at the front desk. The bathroom was amazing and beautiful, a great shower with a rain shower above and a second shower head below it with amazing pressure. I had a lovely comfortable chair and desk for doing work. The bed was really comfortable, soft pillows and crisp cool sheets. Plenty of storage drawers and wardrobe; a kettle, TV, hairdryer, heater and fan were provided which came in handy. Only very small issue was it could be a little loud occassionally with traffic, the morning recycling truck and roadworks were going outside my window, but overall a good size beautiful room and an excellent stay - would definitely recommend and stay again!"
"Julie at the front desk was very friendly and personable when I checked in. I have to agree with her, the sunset from just across the street from the hotel is spectacular. There is possibly nothing better in the world than an English ocean-front sunset on a clear day. The hotel itself is very clean and charming and aesthetically pleasing. I was moved to this hotel after the hotel I had previously booked canceled my reservation at the last minute, and as this hotel and room were an upgrade from what I had booked, I was quite pleased to be staying here, especially in a lovely little ocean view room. Everything was clean and lovely and although I didn't stay long enough to use many amenities, I'm sure they were wonderful as well. "
