Everyone we met from checking in to our departure was friendly and helpful, even using a translation device to chat about the fascinating history of Veliko Tarnovo. "Really poor!!! Not an hotel, rather a bunch of rooms with a so called spa. Receptions closes at night and nobody is there to address any situation. Bathroom only has a bathtub for shower without any courtains, so bathroom gets all wet and slippery. Make room concept was poor …. Just “made barely” the bed and dry the bathroom. There is a continuous noise in the bathroom at midnight for a couple of hours coming from the fact the toilet water tank was leaking and when the pump tries to load it...

"This hotel is cool- the walls are carpetted and each room has it's own subtle/fun animal theme that matches the wall carpet outside the room, inside the room, and on the room key. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The hotel also has a pretty view and a nice staff. It is possible to walk to town from the hotel (about 25 minutes), although the path is interesting. It's also easy and inexpensive to take a cab to town."
