"The housekeeper/front desk employee (I want to say Melissa) was SO FRIENDLY! She knew so much history of the property and was kind enough to give us a tour of a second building.
The cafe for breakfast was so yummy and not far.
The jet tub and wood burning stove sealed the deal."
"My room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Everything I needed for my short stay. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. There was a common kitchen very close by with a full-size refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave, toaster, and kitchen appliances, as well as plates. In warmer weather, there were numerous barbecue grills outside to cook food that you may have brought with you."
"One of the amazing places my family stayed on our 38 day road trip! The owners were phenomenal. They accommodated our late arrival and made a fabulous hot breakfast. The other reviews of the breakfast were correct - it is amazing! I had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, orange juice and a muffin. Another guest made waffles. The flavor of the day was red velvet.
The owner told my family about a cool overlook, a hot spring and a cool wooden bridge along 12! We visited all three locations. The overlook gave a great view of town and the whole area. I got to interact with a few ravens and song birds on the mountain. The hot spring hike was a nice break out of the car. The spring was very warm and felt good on my achy joints. The hike was about a mile round trip. I would recommend some good anti slip full coverage shoes for the hot springs as it is a little slippery. Wear hiking boots for the hike as some parts of the trail can be slippery and steep. The wooden bridges along 12 were neat to stop at and walk across the river. It was a beautiful day to image the fall colors, river and bridges.
My family and I highly recommend staying at Clearwater 12!"
"The inside of this home is very comfy, with many extras included and such a welcoming feel! It was extremely clean, convenient and accessible! It was quiet and peaceful! Great hosts that are truly thinking of their guests."
"Great stay at the SF Junction. Came in late at 7:30pm but Annie still was SO WELCOMING and took our late supper order. Rooms were clean and had everything except a hairdryer. Breakfast at 0800 was excellently served by John and Justin/cook made the best French Toast I’ve ever had! Kudos to Justin and John. Made us feel at home. Wish we could have stayed longer than just 2 nights. Hope to be back next year."
