"On Sunday 23rd August, I arrived with my daughter and granddaughter to the property, I had booked the cottage for them, as we live in the village and they were coming to visit us from Kent. We were greeted by overflowing rubbish bins with flies and an awful smell, which was just to the left of the front door, we entered the property and were hit by a smell of cooking grease and rubbish. The Royal Lion Hotel

The Royal Lion Hotel

8/10 Good
"Second time stay here. Great location with free parking, rooms are nicely decorated and the staff are really friendly. Breakfast was decent too with a choice of continental buffet, full English or eggs Benedict/Royale. Only minor issue was a slight smell of smoke in our room (#25) - probably coming from a smoking area in the courtyard under the windows. Would definitely stay here again."
