"Quaint property on Island. Porters handled all the bags to and from the ferry. Easy to get to everything in downtown. Great prices on bicycle rentals. Great breakfast served in the morning. Only downside was both our room and the friends we were traveling with had our room alarms go off at 6am in the morning. Must have been housekeeping wanting us to get an early start leaving. "

Pine Cottage feels like an old-fashioned bed and breakfast like I remember from a few decades ago, with friendly personalized service. We had a view down the street to the harbor where we could see the water. Love Mackinac Island and we were grateful for Pine Cottage's economical prices and great location for our quick getaway. "

Ferry personnel did not come in time for our luggage to be brought to the boat, so staff at Metivier Inn brought it themselves. Very impressed with how they went out of their way so things went smoothly for us."
