The rug in the living room was filthy. The furniture was vert uncomfortable. The tv in living room wouldnt turn on with the remote. The ac unit in living room had no knobs.

Not a hotel

This is not a hotel, it is corporate housing. If you cannot check in during office hours it is mildly inconvenient because you need to park far away in order to got the card to open the garage gates. I actually was unable to sleep there the first night because I did not know how to use key fob to open the door and my welcome email did not have great instructions. The room was equal in comfort to a good hotel but you have to take your trash out. So it is probably good for corporate use. I

Ideal for 2 week business trip

The Oakwood was ideal for my 2 week business trip. I had a one bedroom apartment that was roomy and well equipped. They also included one set of basic materials such as dishwasher powder and washing powder - I guess if you stay longer then you need to buy your own. There is a separate kitchen with dishwasher, oven/hob/microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Excellent wifi, cable TV with some Movies and a nice big TV in living area with a smaller one in bedroom. Plenty of cupboard space. Bathroom was a bit small but fine for 1 person. Location was ideal for driving into Plug and Play where I was working but the local area was typical strip malls with maybe a 10-15min walk into Santa Clara but a drive into Sunnyvale. There is a pool and gym on site but I didn't use them. The aircon/heating was old and a touch noisy but I didn't need either for a stay in February so switched them off - I think it would be annoying in different conditions. Parking under apartment and there was loads of space. Quite good value compared to local hotels or AirBnB. Sara at desk was friendly and when battery ran out on smoke detector it was fixed same day but as I was out every day I didn't really make much use of any services.

Excellent month to month fully equipped apartment

My stay exceeded my expectations. I was on a work assignment for 4 months and needed a fully equipped & furnished apartment that was safe, quiet and clean. I have traveled and worked for over a year coast to coast and had Airbnb as my main site For temporary residencies. OAKWood stands head and shoulders above any place I have stayed. The staff and customer service was professional and friendly. I highly recommend staying here and will do so myself nationally.

Silicon Valley stay.

Two week stay to visit family and friends was good. Facility was centrally located to shopping and restaurants, and amenities were appreciated. Traffic in the Bay Area and immediate area was horrendously bad at all times of the day and night, but that is one of the major drawbacks of the area, not of the facility. Would stay again.

Lease agreement??

Check in was slow as I was forced to sign a complex lease agreement for a 5 night stay before they would give me a key. Hotels.com site said ID and card for deposit, no mention of a least agreement. Very deceiving.

It's Not a hotel, it's apartment

As I mentioned, it's not a hotel and it's apartment. You won't expect to get house keeping service, trash disposal or changing towel. You need to do on your own. I had couple bad experiences, the garage key didn't work many times. Their office close at 6 pm, so you won't get any service after that. I stayed 2 weeks in this place, the last night I stayed there. My door was opened when I got back and scare me out, luckily nothing was missing. But the whole night I couldn't sleep. I won't come back there
