"A great place to stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. A little tricky to find and get to with winding mountain roads and no signs but that is part of getting away from everything and hanging with the chicks and ducks and geese all a-clucking. Fully stocked bar and kitchen made it so easy to just have fun. The dozens of huge koi fish will practically climb out of the pond when you start feeding them, and the chickens seemed to like Fritos. "It was a beautiful room very clean exactly as described. The only issue was the check out; checkout was stated to be at 11:00 am but while I was out around 9:00 am my brother said that workers were banging on the door to the room and that they opened the door themselves to tell him it was time to leave. We basically got kicked out 2 hours early with no choice."
