"I chose this hotel for my stay because of the amenities but I was very disappointed. The hotel pool and hot tub were dirty and the heat did not work. There was trash all over the outdoor areas of the hotel, as if it were challenging to take out the trash receptacles. The elevator was not working for the entire stay. Workers were working so hard to bring laundry up and down the stairs in black trash bags. The hotel was warm overall, and the rooms had the thermostats set to return to 79* every few hours. I woke up in the middle of the night every night to being sweaty. The breakfast in the morning was lacking usual things. The bar was severely under-stocked. I have stayed here before and enjoyed it but they are under new management which apparently is only concerned with cutting costs. I will never stay here again. "

"Bathroom toilet set needed to replace. Air conditioner was loud hard to sleep. Floors on the 4th floor were just add so you couldn’t take the elevator to that floor. Walls unfinished. The was being remodeled and I should have never been assigned. Housekeeping only added new towels for my five nights"

"This property is in a great location close to a lot of shopping and restaurants.It was clean and quiet.The rooms and outside of the hotel is modern.Nice bar and restaurant inside the hotel.Free parking connected to hotel!I would definitely stay here next time in Houston."

"Disappointing stay. Room was ok and typical Westin but bars next door were loud until 2am. Garbage in hallways and pool area was never cleaned up. Surprise destination fee of $25 plus tax… asked for a late check out (Marriott silver status) and the hotel wanted $65. Guess loyalty programs mean nothing. Will not stay again. "
