"The couple who own this inn are incredibly sweet and hospitable. I also had one of the most delicious bites of food I've ever had in my life - order the hida beef skewer with the rice and pickles. Also private onsen was the perfect thing after lots of walking in the cold."

I would highly recommend booking the meal plans for both dinners and breakfasts... the inn is a bit of a walk from town (very do-able), but it was so nice to eat right there, and the meals were just fantastic! Staff is great, the baths are wonderful... would stay there again."
